BBQ Beans instead of Canned Baked Beans

Yesterday I was at the supermarket and I was looking to buy some baked beans.  I know they would be healthier if I made them myself but for 2 people, I really did not want to make a batch.  So I started reading labels.  Well I decided that I was not going to purchase any of those because of their ingredients.  Then an idea came to me.  What if I purchased Great Northern beans in a can.  The amount in the can was just the portion I was looking for but where to go from here.  Another idea bolt struck me...I make Wild Bourbon Molasses Gourmet BBQ Sauce.  I decided to see if it would work...

1. drain the beans from a 15.5 oz can and rinse

2. place the beans in a sauce pot over medium heat

3. add 3-4 tlbs of Wild Bourbon Molasses Gourmet BBQ Sauce

4. add 1-2 tbls water (it needed more moisture since we drained the beans)

5. add cooked bacon, hotdogs, etc if desired

6. stir until heated through

The recipe is pretty simple and everything is understandable! I wish I can be such a skillful cooker as I am an essay writer so I can prepare many dishes at once!
